👩🍳Recipe Variations
- Peppermint Candies - add chopped peppermint candy chips instead of the chocolate chips. Even mint chips will be nice.
- White Hot Chocolate Mix- use a white chocolate mix instead of the traditional chocolate flavor.
- Candy Cane Antlers - instead of using the pipe cleansers to form the antlers, try using candy canes. The kids will love that!
- See this collection of Reindeer Hot Chocolate Cones on my website!
Storage Tips
- Store the hot chocolate cone bags in the pantry for up to two weeks.
- Any longer and the marshmallows will start to harden.
Top Tip
- Since you'll be giving these as gifts, you're going to want to be as neat as you can when putting them together. Sometimes when you add the hot chocolate mix to a plastic cone bag, the powder mix could stick to the inside of the bags.
- Use a small funnel to add the hot chocolate powder mix.
- Or you can easily make your own funnel using a piece of parchment paper. Insert the homemade funnel into the cone bag and then add the hot chocolate mix through that funnel.
- This will help keep the plastic cone bag from getting powdery.

What size piping bag is ideal to fit everything? Is 12oz going to be too small?
