Storage Tips
- Peanut butter cookies can go stale if stored incorrectly.
- Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. This will help keep the candies nice and soft.
- Adding a slice of bread to the container can help the cookies from becoming dry over time. The bread adds moisture to the container.
Top Tip
- Make sure the butter is at room temperature before creaming it with the sugar and peanut butter.
Peanut butter blossom or peanut butter cookies can be dry because they lack moisture...which is why this recipe adds 2 tablespoons of milk to the batter.
