Recipe FAQ's
What is a mandarin orange?
Mandarin oranges are small citrus fruits with thin orange peels and juicy, slightly tart flesh. Their refreshing flavor makes them perfect for infused water drinks. Try combinations like mandarin orange with mint, lemon, or ginger. You can also enjoy them alone as a healthy snack or add them to salads for a burst of flavor and color.
Are mandarin and oranges same?
Many people think mandarin oranges and regular oranges are the same, but they're not! Mandarin oranges are smaller, sweeter, and have thinner, easier-to-peel skin. They likely came from China, which is where they get their name. Oranges are bigger, somewhat tarter, and have a thicker skin. Mandarins are great for eating on their own or adding a unique flavor to infused water. Next time you shop, remember the difference!
