Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
I think my all-time favorite dessert is cheesecake. I love a good creamy, delicious piece of cheesecake when I’m out celebrating and I enjoy baking homemade cheesecake. My mother makes an amazing cheesecake that is a must for all our family holiday celebrations!
Most cheesecake recipes call for sour cream to be added to the cream cheese mixture, but for these Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries recipe today, I decided to swap out the sour cream with plain yogurt. The result was delicious!

- Strawberry Huller/Corer or Melon Baller to help you create the indent in the strawberries. A small spoon would work as well.
- Disposable Pastry Bags – I love using disposable bags for working with this cheesecake mixture.
- Star Decorating Tip – you can use whichever is your favorite tip, but I thought this one made for a pretty design.
Ingredients:
Make sure you print out the recipe below and save it for later!
- 20 large strawberries
- 1 – 8 ounce package of cream cheese softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
How to Make the Cream Cheese Mixture
Make the whipped cream first in your Kitchen Aid mixer and then transfer to a clean bowl while you prepare the cheesecake mixture. Then fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until all is combined.
Add the whipped cream and cheesecake mixture to a piping bag that’s been fitted with the star tip. Set aside while you prepare the strawberries.
How to Hollow out the Strawberries
Slice each strawberry in half being careful to keep the stem in place. I like to keep the stem on the strawberries. I’ve made this recipe without the stem, but really think they look prettier on a plate with the stem.
Then using a small spoon or a strawberry huller, hollow out the middle of each strawberry half being very careful not to go too deep.
How to Stuff the Strawberries
Pipe the cream cheese mixture into each sliced strawberry half.
Sprinkle each strawberry half with the graham cracker crumbs.
Now, doesn’t that look amazing?
Tips for Making Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
- Depending on how big your strawberries are, you might be able to fill more than 20 strawberries.
- You might find it easier to trim the bottom of each strawberries half so they sit on the plate with falling over. Try it out with a few of the strawberries and see if you need to trim the bottoms before filling them with the cheesecake mixture.
- You might also have extra cheesecake mixture leftover. I didn’t find that to be a problem at all and enjoyed the leftover mixture as my little treat for the day.
