Filled with lemons, limes and orange slices, Citrus Flavored Water is a delicious way to serve a refreshing glass of water. Infused water recipes not only help you drink eight glasses of water every day, but they also dress up a plain glass of water.
Which is great when serving a simple beverage to family and friends.

This recipe for Citrus Flavored Water couldn't be any easier. It's simply a pitcher of water filled with sliced lemons, limes and oranges. Oh and don't forget plenty of ice!
Non-alcoholic drinks are the perfect drink to keep on hand for the family. They also help your family stay away from sugary fruit punch drinks or even vitamin water drinks.
For this recipe, I chose to use an infusion pitcher which is a great way to keep fruit-infused drinks fresh. The pitcher easily stores in the refrigerator to keep the water cold and ready for when you need a cool refreshing drink.

- Limes
- Lemons
- Oranges
- Sprigs of fresh mint; optional
- Fresh Water

Quick Tip: The longer the fruit sits in the water, the stronger the fruit flavors will be.
Step-by-Step Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Fruit
Wash the fruit and then slice into rounds.

Step 2: Add the Water
Fill the infusion pitcher with cold water then add the fruit slices.

Step 3: Allow Fruit to Steep
Leave the fruit to infuse or "steep" for 30 minutes, then pour over ice and serve.

Once all the water has been drunk, you can refill the pitcher with more water one more time before discarding the fruit. You can certainly eat the fruit before discarding, if you like to eat lemon and lime slices. The orange slices were delicious!
