Recipe Tips
While regular pretzels work, waffle pretzels offer a larger canvas for your M&M "petals" and provide a sturdier base for holding chocolate.
You'll want to make sure the candy melts soften slightly and not melt. This will make them easier to adhere the pretzels to, but not so runny that they drip off the sides.
Work quickly once you've softened the candy melts. The chocolate will start to set as it cools, so have your M&Ms ready to arrange as "petals" before the chocolate hardens.
Use the flat side of the M&Ms for better adhesion to the chocolate. For a more vibrant flower, consider sorting your M&Ms by color and creating multicolored blooms.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Add the pretzels in a single layer.
Step 2: Add a white candy melt in the center of each pretzel.
- Brand confectionery coating
- 12 oz. bag size
- Kosher Dairy
- Due to summer temperatures, candy melts may melt in transit; They still can be used but they may not arrive in original wafer shape
- Their delicious taste can be varied with Wilton's candy flavors
Step 3: Bake for about 3-4 minutes in a preheated 250°F oven. Watch them closely...you want the candy melts to start to soften but not melt.
Step 4: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately place the M&M's in the pattern of a flower. You'll need one M&M for the center and 6 for the petals.
- Indulge in the irresistible taste of Easter M&M's candy with this 2 pack of Easter chocolates including 2 x 10oz bags of Easter Milk Chocolate mandm candy, the perfect treat for Easter holiday celebrations.
Expert Tip
After decorating, place your Flower Pretzel Treats in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely. This will help them stay firm and prevent the M&Ms from falling off.
Step 5: Once the treats have hardened, enjoy!
