You only need three ingredients to make these sweet and salty bite-sized Valentine's Day Pretzel Treats. They're an easy treat that are sure to disappear quick when you hand them out for school parties or place a tray out for a party at home.
Either way, these are one Valentine's Day Recipe you're going to want to make over and over again.
These pretzel treats are the perfect treat for Valentine's Day, however, they can be made for any occasion simply by changing the color of M&Ms. I love how you can purchase Bulk M&Ms in so many colors!
This recipe was inspired by my Hugs Christmas Pretzel Treats although those are made with Hugs Candy Kisses.
If you plan on giving these as gifts, check out the gift tags below that would be fun way to hand them out for classrooms or neighbors. Wrap them up in cellophane bags and use fun ribbon when you give them as gifts.
Make sure you save some for yourself! They're very addictive!

Main Ingredients Needed
This is an overview of the ingredients and instructions. Be sure to see the recipe card below for exact quantities, detailed instructions and special notes.
🥣Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 | Combine the Ingredients
- Lay the pretzels out on a baking tray that's been lined with parchment paper.
- Then add a chocolate candy on top of each pretzel.
Baking Tip: Try not to overcrowd the baking sheet and add too many pretzels at one time. When the candy kisses come out of the oven, you do need to work fast to add the M&M's. If there are too many pretzels on the tray, that will slow you down.
Step 2 | Baking Instructions
- Then place the tray in a preheated 200°F oven.
- Bake for about 4 minutes.
- Remove the trays and immediately add a M&M candy on top of each candy kiss.
Step 3 | Cooling Tips
- Allow the pretzel treats to cool for around 25 minutes before removing them.

Substitutions and Variations
- You can make these cookies with other flavors of candy kisses.
- Try other flavors of M&Ms as well.
- You can also use other pretzel shapes. Pretzel twists would be cute.

🍶Storage Tips
- Store the Valentine's Day Pretzel Treats in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- Make sure you keep them in a cool place as they will melt if they're stored in a place that is too warm.
➡️ Top Recipe Tip
- Be careful not to set the oven too high. If you do, it will cause the chocolate kiss candies to crack and fall apart.
