Step 1: Add ¼ cup of popcorn kernels to a clean, unused brown paper lunch bag. Fold the top of the bag over twice to seal it. Place the bag in the microwave and cook on HIGH for 1½ to 3 minutes. Listen for the popping to slow to about 2 seconds between pops, then stop the microwave immediately.

Step 2: Carefully open the bag to release the steam, then pour the popcorn into a large bowl. Season with melted butter, salt, or your favorite sweet or savory toppings and enjoy.
Insider Tips from My Kitchen to Yours
✔️ DO fold the top of the paper bag tightly so the kernels stay contained while popping.
❌ DO NOT leave the bag in the microwave after the popping stops or the popcorn can burn quickly.
Keep in mind that brown paper bags aren’t specifically made for microwave use, so stay nearby while your popcorn cooks. It’s better to stop early and leave a few kernels unpopped than to let the bag overheat.

Storage & Serving Tips
Storage Tips: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Serving Tips: Enjoy right after popping for the best crunch, or keep in an airtight container if serving later.
