Hugs Pretzels – The Perfect Christmas Treat!

Hugs Pretzels are a fun treat to make all year round but even nicer to make during the holidays to give as Christmas gifts…especially with the printable gift tags I made for you!

Hugs Pretzel Treats on blue plate are perfect for the holidays!

Hugs Pretzels

Today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite combinations…chocolate and pretzels.  These Hugs Pretzels Treats are so yummy and so incredibly easy to make. I love the combination of sweet chocolate with the saltiness of the pretzels.

It doesn’t get much better than that for a snack in my book and they make really great homemade Christmas gifts too. I even made printable gift tags for you to use.  Just add these treats to a mason jar or a pretty gift bag with the gift tags and you are set to go for Christmas gifts!

Welcome to the ‘Tis the Season Blog Hop!

We may be a lot later getting our Christmas decor out than some others – but you know how the ole’ saying goes.  “It’s Better Late Than Never.” Please make sure you visit all of these amazing blogs that are listed at the end of this recipe for some last minute decorating and entertaining ideas; like my recipe for these Hugs Pretzels!  I think they’ll make great hostess gifts to use for all your entertaining this holiday season…AND I even created fun gift tags for you to print out to use as well.

Food Gifts in a Jar

You only need three ingredients to make these yummy Christmas treats…well, they’re good any time of year really.  But we love to make them at Christmas so we can give as gifts to school teachers, bus drivers and even as hostess gifts.

This is a great treat to have your kids help you make too.  They can easily open the Hershey Hugs Kisses and place on top of the square waffle shaped pretzels.  Then they can help you wrap them up by placing in pretty cellophane bags or even mason jars.

Whether you make these as gifts or enjoy them with family and friends, you are going to love the taste of these treats this holiday season.

How to Make Hugs Pretzels with M and M Candies

Lay the Hugs Candy Kisses on top of the pretzels. Bake in the 200 degree oven for about 4 minutes. The kisses will still have their shape but they’ll be just on the edge of melting.

Remove from the oven and add the candy M and M’s.  Chill in the refrigerator before packing up as gifts.

I adore the combination of chocolate and pretzels and I also love having homemade gifts to give out to everyone I cross paths with at the holidays. These are perfect and I love the idea of using the swirl kiss to give the treat added texture. Merry Christmas! ♥
