Lucky Charms Cereal Bars Recipe - you only need three ingredients to make these fun colorful no bake cereal bar treats. They're one of our St. Patrick's Day Treats featured here on the blog. However, these are great all year round! I mean, who doesn't love the marshmallows from cereal? Let me show you how easy these are to put together.
These Lucky Charms Treats are very similar to my Patriotic Cereal Treats and my No Bake Rice Krispie Nest Treats. Only I think I like these a little bit better because there are two types of marshmallows!
They're a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and go great with our Mint Ice Cream Soda Recipe too!
This recipe calls for mini marshmallows like a traditional Rice Krispie Bar recipe. However, since Lucky Charms cereal already has rainbow marshmallows, you're getting double the marshmallows in one dessert recipe!
No Bake Cereal Bar Recipe
Did you love Lucky Charms Cereal as a kid growing up? We used to always try to eat all the marshmallows out of the box and leave the cereal behind. My mom was never too happy when that happened.

- Lucky Charms cereal
- Butter - for this recipe you're going to want to use unsalted butter.
- 1 12-ounce bag regular-sized marshmallows (about 4 cups)
Baking Tip: Spreading out the mixture might be a little difficult. You can spray the back of the rubber spatula or spray your hands to help spread the cereal bar mixture.
Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows. Stir frequently until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in Lucky Charms cereal.
Step 2: Spoon the Mixture into a Square Pan
Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray. Pour mixture into the prepared pan.
Step 3: Spread the Mixture in the Pan
Pat down the mixture with a rubber spatula sprayed with non-stick spray. Alternatively, you can spray your hands and use those.
Step 4: Cut the Cereal Bars
Let set for at least an hour. Remove from the pan. Using a knife coated with non-stick spray, cut the bars into 12 squares or the size you want.
Step 3: How to Store Lucky Charms Cereal Bars
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 5 days...that's if they last that long. You can also freeze them up to six months.

FREQUENTLY ASKED RECIPE QUESTIONS
Don't overcook or over-stir the marshmallows and try not to press the mixture down too hard in the pan or you will compact the treats.
You can store them on the counter for a few days as long as they're covered. Storing them in the refrigerator will only cause the marshmallows to harden. You could also freeze them for up to 6 months.
