Substitutions and Variations
- Try using string cheese for kids to unravel and create the "bandages."
- Small slices of pepperoni make great eyes!
- If you don't have black olives, green olives can be used. Or try using candy eyes!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Roll out the pizza dough. You can either roll it out on a lightly floured surface or direction on top of the parchment paper.
Step 2:Transfer the parchment paper to a baking sheet. Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, cut out circles in the dough.
Step 3: If you have excess dough, gather the scraps, roll it out and cut out more round circles. You should get around 16 circles from one loaf of pizza dough.
Step 4: Spread the sauce on top of the pizza dough circles. Try not to get too close to the edge of the dough.
Step 5: Add the shredded mozzarella cheese followed by the sliced black olives for eyes.
Quick Tip
Parchment paper creates a barrier between the pizza and the baking tray, preventing the bottom from burning.
This allows the heat to circulate more evenly, resulting in a perfectly browned crust and a gooey, melted topping.
Parchment paper also makes cleanup a breeze! No more stuck-on cheese or scrubbing stubborn crusts.
Baking Instructions
Step 6: Bake the pizza circles in a preheated 450°F for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted. Remember all ovens bake differently. Watch them closely so they don't burn. Once you remove them from the oven, add the candy eyes and serve!

Take the dough out of the fridge 30-60 minutes before rolling. This makes it easier to stretch and helps it cook more evenly.
Parchment paper is better, but you can use foil in a pinch. Just grease it well and watch carefully so your pizza doesn't burn!
Storing and Reheating Instructions
Refrigerate: Allow the leftover pizzas to cool completely. Then, stack them with parchment paper between each to prevent sticking. Store the stack in an airtight container or a resealable bag for up to 4 days.
Freezer: Wrap each one individually in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe bag. Store them in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Thaw: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
Toaster Oven: Place the circles on the rack and toast at a low setting until heated through.
Air Fryer: Arrange the circles in the basket and air fry at 350°F for 3-5 minutes.
Traditional Oven: Place them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
