How to make Heart-Shaped Brownies without a Cookie Cutter
Bake your brownies as usual in a square pan. Once cooled, use a sharp knife to cut out heart shapes. You can freehand it, but I like to use a paper heart template as a guide.
Step 2: Allow the brownies to cool completely. Then use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut into cute heart shapes. Use different sizes for fun!
Decorating Brownies for Valentine's Day
Step 3: Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in short bursts, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Step 4: Carefully spoon the melted chocolate onto each brownie, spreading it evenly to the edges. Top with sprinkles immediately before the chocolate sets.

- 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
- Valentine's Day sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the brownies according to the directions on the back of the box.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before gently lifting the ends of the parchment paper. Place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Gently press heart shaped cookie cutters into the cooled brownies.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second intervals stirring well between each 30 seconds until fully melted.
- Use a spoon to carefully drip melted chocolate into the center of the brownies (one at a time), then use the tip of the end of the spoon to work the chocolate to the edges.
- Add the sprinkles immediately before the melted chocolate sets.
- Allow chocolate to fully set, then enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure the brownies are completely cooled before cutting out shapes.
- To store leftover brownies, place them in an airtight container or wrap them tightly in plastic wrap. This will help prevent them from drying out and keep them moist.

So many yummy looking treats! The fun thing about heart-shaped treats, is that you often cut away the edges, so you only get the soft center part (my fave)!
