Making something cute for your family to celebrate Valentine's Day doesn't require much effort. In fact, you can create these delightful heart-shaped brownies that are not only easy to make but also incredibly delicious.
With the convenience of a boxed mix, you can whip up these fudgy brownies in no time. Cut them into adorable heart shapes using a cookie cutter, adding an extra touch of love to your dessert.

One year I even made heart shaped homemade rolls. They didn't look very much like hearts, but my son said they were still delicious.
And you know what? That's all that really matters. Making something fun for your family to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Step-by-Step Directions

Storage Tips

Freezing Tips
- Freeze the brownies while they are still fresh, ideally within two to three days after baking.
- Wrap the brownies tightly in plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn and protect their flavor and texture.
- Place the wrapped brownies in an airtight freezer bag or container to further protect them from freezer odors.
- Label the container with the date of freezing for easy reference.
- Brownies should stay fresh for up to three months.
🔁 Thawing Tips
- To thaw the frozen brownies, simply remove them from the freezer and let them stand at room temperature for 3-4 hours before serving.

Heart Shaped Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 - 18.5 ounce size brownie mix
- ¼ cup water
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Stir browni mix, water, oil and eggs in a bowl until combined.
- Spread mixture in a 9X13 pan that's been lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before gently lifting the ends of the parchment paper. Place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Gently press heart shaped cookie cutters into the cooled brownies.
- Decorate with powdered sugar and sprinkles if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the brownies are completely cooled before cutting out shapes.
- To store leftover brownies, place them in an airtight container or wrap them tightly in plastic wrap. This will help prevent them from drying out and keep them moist.
