Step 2: Ladle the dessert into individual serving glasses. I used my mother's antique dessert cups. For an extra touch, consider topping each with fresh fruit, a sprig of mint, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
Remember that the choice of fruit may affect the calorie and point count of the recipe.
Insider Tips from My Kitchen to Yours
✔️ DO use sugar free cheesecake pudding mix and Cool Whip for the best light and creamy texture.
❌ DO NOT try freezing any pudding leftovers. Once thawed, it turns watery and loses its smooth consistency.
Storage & Serving Tips
- Refrigerate: Store pudding in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Give it a gentle stir before serving if it separates slightly.
- Freezer: Freezing is not recommended, as the texture may become grainy once thawed.
- Serving Tips: Spoon into small dessert cups and top with fresh berries for a pretty presentation. You can also add a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers or a drizzle of sugar-free chocolate syrup for extra flavor.
Recipe FAQ's

It's important to double-check the specific packaging, as point values can occasionally vary. However, in general, both fat-free and sugar-free Cool Whip are considered zero-point foods on the Weight Watchers program.
While Jell-O Sugar-Free Pudding snacks are generally 1 Weight Watchers point per serving, it's always a good idea to check the nutrition label on the specific package you have, as the point value may differ slightly depending on the flavor or size.

Hi Lois, Perfect, and this is something I am going to have to try. I do have a question for you.
You mentioned 1g serving - Do you mean the nutritional value = all four cups as per the picture, thus 4 servings?
Thank you for linking to HIH 598. See you again! Did you know, you can also link up with Senior Salon Pit Stop, Mon through Saturday.
Lois says
Hi Esme! I just updated the recipe card so the nutritional information is now calculated per serving (1 cup), not per gram. (Not sure how that happened!) The recipe makes 4 servings total, just like shown in the photo. Thanks for catching that!
Esme Slabbert says
Thanks, I thought it to be a gremlin.
Lois says
I'm wondering if it happened when I switched my recipe cards from Create to WPRM. I had a few errors show up in the nutrition since then. Anyway, I'm happy you caught it as this is one of my top recipes! 🙂

I can't have milk I wonder if almond milk would work.

Have you used almond milk with pudding mix? If you have, it would probably work with this recipe! Thank you for visiting.

How many points is the pudding
Lois says
In the post I have this statement regarding points: "You can enjoy Weight Watchers Cheesecake Pudding and Cool Whip on any of the three WW plans. The Blue Plan has more restrictions than Purple or Green Plan and the points vary depending which plan you choose.
Make sure to check with your specific plan. Another way to check the points for this recipe is to add the recipe in the WW app and see how this fits into your daily allotment." I hope this helps you!

I used homemade whipped cream rather than cool whip for this (not really Weight Watchers compliant anymore with the higher fat content), and it was amazing! I had canned blueberries on hand from a previous batch of canning I’d done, and topped it with the berries and juice, and WOW, so good! The pudding&whipped cream mix holds up really well for several days in the fridge, which is great for meal prep for me! Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you for the great comment and letting us know about the substitutions you used!
JAMIE STRICKLETT says
The picture for this recipe shows a 1 ounce size box and the recipe calls for a 3.4 ounce box. So the first time I used a 3.4 ounce size and 1% milk and the second time I used 3-1 ounce boxes because I couldn't find the 3.4 size, and skim milk. Both had good flavor but definitely different texture. Is it because I used 1% milk and versus skim milk? Thanks
Lois says
The recipe calls for only one box. They used to refer to these boxes as a 3.4 ounce size, but I do see in the photo they now say they're 1 ounce size...which can be very confusing. I updated the recipe card to show 1 box, 4 serving size box. I hope this helps you!
