How to make Pancake Shapes with Cookie Cutters
You can use metal cookie cutters to shape your pancakes, but don’t use plastic ones—they can melt on the hot pan.
To create pancake shapes with cookie cutters, you can grease the metal cookie cutters with non-stick baking spray and place them on a greased griddle.
Then, ladle pancake batter into the center of each cookie cutter and cook until the edges are dry and bubbles form. Remember to remove the cookie cutters using tongs as soon as possible after the pancake holds its shape.

Insider Tips from My Kitchen to Yours
Want to make this recipe even better? Don’t miss my favorite tips below for boosting flavor, perfecting texture, and saving time in the kitchen!
✔️ DO use a nonstick skillet or griddle and preheat it properly for even cooking and golden edges.
❌ DO NOT press down on the pancakes while cooking—it flattens them and squeezes out the fluffiness.
How to Store, Freeze and Reheat Leftover Pancakes
Refrigerate: Store leftover pancakes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Freezer: Place pancakes in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container with parchment paper between layers. Freeze for up to 2 months.
Thaw and Reheat: Thaw in the fridge overnight or microwave straight from frozen. Reheat in the microwave, toaster, or oven until warm.
