Here are a few tips for selecting perfect strawberries for dipping in chocolate:

  • Just because a strawberry is big, doesn't mean it's sweet. In fact, the smaller the strawberry, the sweeter it is.
  • Try to get strawberries that have a stem. They make a great presentation and you have something to hold on to while dipping them in the melted chocolate.

Step 3: Hold the strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate to coat it. Place it on a pan lined with aluminum foil.

Step 4: Once the chocolate has set, Place the remaining chocolate in a piping bag and drizzle over the strawberries. Allow the strawberries to completely set for about 10 minutes.

  • 12 strawberries clean and dry
  • 1 cup white chocolate broken into pieces

Method
 

  1. Place the broken white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Melt it in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted.
  2. Stir the warm chocolate until smooth and let it cool slightly to a comfortable temperature.
  3. Line a baking sheet or cutting board with foil. Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, coating it almost completely. Place the strawberries on the prepared sheet.
  4. Once the chocolate sets slightly, drizzle the remaining chocolate over the strawberries using a piping bag with a small opening. Allow the strawberries to set completely for 5–10 minutes.
