Substitutions and Variations
No bunny cookies: Use vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, or graham crackers for the layers or topping.
Different pudding flavor: Swap vanilla pudding for banana or white chocolate pudding for a flavor twist.
Homemade whipped cream: Replace the frozen whipped topping with my recipe for Homemade Whipped Cream.
Fruit swap: Add sliced strawberries or use a mix of bananas and strawberries for a spring variation.
Candy change: Replace Cadbury mini eggs with pastel M&M’s, chocolate shavings, or mini chocolate chips.
Mason jar option: These can be layered in mason jars as well if you don't have any small parfait cups.

Step 7: Just before serving, garnish with extra bunny cookies and banana slices, then sprinkle with crushed Cadbury eggs.
Insider Tips from My Kitchen to Yours
✔️ DO let the parfaits chill for a few hours before serving so the layers set and the flavors come together nicely.
❌ DO NOT assemble too far in advance without covering, as the bananas and cookies can soften too much and lose their texture.

Storage & Serving Tips
Refrigerate: Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Keep the parfaits tightly covered to prevent the bananas from browning and the layers from drying out.
Freezer: Freezing is not recommended, as the texture of the pudding and whipped topping can change once thawed.
Serving Tips: Add the chocolate bunnies, candy, or extra cookie pieces just before serving to keep the toppings crisp and the presentation fresh.

Yes, you can make these banana pudding parfaits ahead of time—and they’re actually great for that. You can assemble them up to 24 hours in advance and keep them covered in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve. For the best texture and appearance, add the final toppings (extra cookies, banana slices, and candy) just before serving so everything stays fresh and crisp.
Yes, you can definitely make this in one large dish instead of individual cups. Just layer the ingredients the same way in a trifle dish or a 9x13-inch dish, repeating the pudding, cookies, and banana layers until everything is used up. Chill as directed, then add the toppings right before serving for the best texture and presentation.
For best results, assemble the banana pudding parfaits at least 4 hours before serving so they have time to chill and set. You can also make them up to 24 hours in advance and keep them covered in the refrigerator. If you’re making them ahead, wait to add the final toppings until just before serving so everything looks fresh and the cookies stay crisp.
