How long should you let fruit infuse in water?
- Infuse for a minimum of 4 hours to overnight in the refrigerator to allow the flavors of the fruit to fully infuse into the water.
- It is recommended to remove the fruit after 18-24 hours to prevent it from affecting the taste negatively.
- Also consider personal preferences and taste when deciding on the duration of infusing the fruit flavor into the water.
Do you refrigerate fruit-infused water?
- It's generally recommended to refrigerate fruit-infused water, especially if you plan to let the fruit infuse in the water for an extended period.
- Refrigeration helps prevent the growth of bacteria and keeps the water fresh. Additionally, refrigerating the infused water can enhance the flavor as the fruit infuses more effectively in cooler temperatures.
- If you're serving the fruit-infused water immediately after preparing it, you can use chilled water or add ice to keep it cold.

Quick Tip
Remember when preparing an infused fruit beverage to allow enough time for the flavors to meld together. Infusing fruit into water or other beverages takes time for the flavors to fully infuse and develop.
It's best to let the fruit sit in the liquid for several hours, or even overnight in the refrigerator, to achieve the best flavor. This allows the natural essence and sweetness of the fruit to be released into the liquid, resulting in a more flavorful and refreshing beverage.
Storage Tips
Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours with the fruit and mint still in it to infuse flavor.
If there's leftovers, remove the fruit and mint so they don't break down and make the water bitter. Refrigerate the flavored water for 3 to 4 days.
Freezing Tips
You can have some fun with your leftover beverages by freezing them in ice cube trays! Just pop them out and store in a plastic bag for future use when preparing a refreshing drink.

I am a little confused, how much water do you use to infuse it with, if your sparkling water sits for overnight in the pitcher, don't you lose the carbonation ? So how much h water do you infuse to add to the pitcher to sit or are you indeed using the sparkling water to sit forthat amount of time? Thank you
