Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Beat the heat this summer with this refreshingly fruity recipe for Homemade Peach Iced Tea.  It's the perfect drink to enjoy while sitting on the back porch relaxing with family and friends.

My husband and I are not coffee drinkers.  But we are huge tea drinkers.  Especially iced tea.  We make a pot or two of fresh brew tea every morning and enjoy it poured over ice and sweetened with either lemon or low calorie sweetener.

Today I'm sharing with you a peach flavored ice tea recipe.  And boy is this one delicious!

The best part about this recipe is that it's FAST and EASY.  Those are always important, right? It's also delicious and perfect to make when you know you're going to have a house full of guests that are thirsty.

How to Make Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Make sure you print out the recipe below and save it for later!

Ingredients: 

  • 8 cups water
  • 6 black tea bags
  • 4 fresh peaches pitted and cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger finely minced
  • 2 to 4 tbsp honey

Directions: 

  1. In a saucepan, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. Add the tea bags and cover the saucepan to allow the tea bags to steep.
  3. All the tea to come to room temperature and then remove the tea bags from the water.
  4. Fill a pitcher about ⅓ with ice.
  5. Add the tea to the pitcher.
  6. Add the chopped peaches, ginger and honey.
  7. Taste for sweetness and add more honey if necessary.
  8. Chill the tea for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Serve over ice with peach slices and sprigs of fresh mint as a garnish if desired.

  • 8 c. water

    Hi! I really like quite a few of your recipes but I sure wish they were easier to pin! I looked and looked for a "pin" logo at the top of the recipe and finally found it all the way at the bottom. But it doesn't work. Bummer.
