With the help of our Weekly Menu Plan I hope to ease that burden! This week I am featuring salad recipes that will help you get dinner on the table pretty quick. All you’ll need is a little planning and you can prepare a delicious meal for your family every night this week!
Healthy Proteins to Add to a Salad
All you need to do to turn an ordinary salad into a meal is add protein.
Here are a few protein choices that turn any traditional salad into a great option for dinner tonight:
- Grilled chicken
- Rotisserie chicken
- Steak
- Hard boiled eggs or even a scrambled egg or two works!
- Cooked shrimp
- Beans - chickpeas, black beans or a combination.
- Canned tuna
Weekly Meal Plan
If your family is like mine, they don't like having the same recipe over and over again. I think you're going to enjoy trying these new recipes this week.

Get the kids involved with the planning also! Have them pick a meal one night a week. And make sure they know they need to pick a healthy meal that includes vegetables. Make it fun for them!
