Like most kids, I grew up drinking powdered fruit or iced tea drinks. I don't remember ever having homemade lemonade. It will be hard to make a pitcher with a powdered mix after you taste this Infused Strawberry Lemonade recipe.
Most infused water recipes require a special pitcher, but you really don't need one. As long as you allow the fruit to soak in the water or lemonade for at least 30 minutes, you will be able to taste the flavor of the fruit.

Step-by-Step Directions
Step 1: In a saucepan, mix 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: To a large pitcher, add 4 cups of cold water, then stir in the simple syrup and lemon juice. Taste the mixture and adjust as needed by adding more water for a milder flavor or more lemon juice for a tangier drink.
