Step-by-Step Instructions
Quick Tip: Remember, all air fryers bake differently. Please use these instructions as a guideline.
Step 1 | Form the Crescent Rolls
- Once you open up the can of crescent roll dough, separate the triangles into eight individual pieces.
- Then proceed to roll them up starting with the wide end and shape into a crescent shape.
Step 2 | Air Fryer Baking Instructions
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick baking spray.
- Place the crescent rolls in the basket making sure you leave enough room between them so they're not touching. As you can see, I could only fit 4 at a time in my smaller air fryer.
- Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Then open the basket and see if they're done. Shake them a little to make sure they're not sticking to the basket.
- Continue to bake for another 2 minutes if not baked through.
Step 3 | How to Remove Refrigerator Crescent Rolls from an Air Fryer
- Gently lift the crescent rolls out of the air fryer being careful not to "crush" or squeeze them too much.
- If the rolls stuck to the bottom of the basket, just separate gently with a knife or a spatula.
Serving Tips
- Serve as a side dish for dinner or for breakfast with plenty of butter and jam.

Tips for Baking Canned Crescent Rolls in the Air Fryer
- Roll the crescent rolls up just as you would if you were baking them in the oven.
- Do not overcrowd the basket. I could only fit four crescent rolls at a time in my basket style air fryer. You want the hot air to be able to flow between the crescent rolls so they cook perfectly.
- Do not stack them on top of each other either.
- Check them halfway through to make sure they are cooking evenly. You may have to rotate them if you notice one side is baking too fast and the other side is still raw.
- All air fryers work differently, so pay attention to the way yours bakes the first time you do crescent rolls and make a note of the time.
Recipe Variations
- There are so many ways you can change up this recipe! You can stuff the crescent rolls with cheese or pepperoni...or both. Try my Crescent Rolls with Cheese recipe.
- You can brush garlic butter on them before rolling them up for a garlic butter flavor. Follow my recipe for Garlic Butter Crescent Rolls only use the baking directions here in the recipe card.
- Or you could sprinkle your favorite seasonings on top before baking.
- Make them the first time as directed here in this post and then start having fun with the different ways they can be made.
Make it a Meal
- These make a perfect bread side dish to most any meal. However soup is always a good choice. Try my family's favorite Pasta Fagiola Soup Recipe.
- Or you could serve them alongside Air Fryer Chicken Skewers.
Storage Tips
- Store any leftovers in an air tight container.
- You can reheat leftovers in the air fryer for a minute or two until they're heated through.
