What’s not to love about homemade cinnamon rolls and French toast for breakfast? How about if we combine these two delicious flavors into one amazing recipe?

Slices of cinnamon bread dipped in beaten eggs then fried and topped with a sweet homemade sugary glaze, the same as my Easy Cinnamon Roll Bread Recipe. I couldn’t believe how much a Classic French toast recipe can taste like cinnamon rolls!

Before I created this recipe, I always thought my Cinnamon Roll Casserole was an easy breakfast recipe, but I’m wrong. This is easier and just as delicious.

Frequently Asked Recipe Questions

What is the secret to good French toast?

It helps to work fast when cooking French toast. Have everything ready to go before you start dipping the bread in the egg mixture. Also, I have found that removing the bread slices from the plastic bag and placing them on a cutting board for about 30 minutes before cooking helps to “dry” it out and remove any excess moisture from the bread slices.

How do you make French toast not soggy?

It helps if you use bread that is a little stale. Then submerge the slices of bread into the egg mixture quickly. Make sure the bread doesn’t sit too long in the egg mixture either. I like to quickly turn the bread over a few times in the egg mixture using a fork making sure both sides are equally coated.
