For this recipe, I used my Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe.
Don't want to use pizza dough? Try my Grands Biscuits Pizza Recipe that uses refrigerated biscuits!
Italian Sausage - brown a few links of sweet Italian sausage and crumble it up and toss on top of the pizza sauce before adding the cheese.
Mushrooms, Black Olives, Chopped Broccoli - make it a veggie pizza!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough thin and cut shapes with cookie cutters placed close together to reduce waste. Re-roll the scraps to cut additional shapes as needed.
Step 2: Arrange the shapes 1 to 2 inches apart on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking parchment sheets.
Step 3: Add your favorite toppings to the mini pizza appetizers.
Baking Instructions
Step 4: Bake the pizza in a hot preheated 425°F until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Appetizers to Serve with Pizza
Serve the pizza appetizers with our family's favorite pizza dipping sauces. You can serve Caprese Antipasto Skewers or a few of our delicious Italian Puff Pastry Appetizers.

Recipe Tips that Worked for Me:
You can prepare the mini pizza appetizers ahead of time by putting the pizzas together, cover lightly with plastic wrap and then placing the tray in the refrigerator until you're ready to bake them.
These mini Christmas pizzas work great all year round and would be really cute for a child's birthday party using animal or flower shaped cookie cutters.
Storage Tips
Refrigerator: If you have any leftovers, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or place them in an airtight container before storing them in the refrigerator.
Reheating Tips: When ready to eat, either reheat it in the air fryer or an oven preheated to 350°F until cheese bubbles.

Cookie Cutter Pizza
Ingredients
- Pizza crust dough either homemade or store bought
- 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
- Assorted pizza toppings such as pepperoni green and red peppers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- On a large floured surface, roll out the pizza dough until thin.
- Use desired cookie cutters to cut out shapes with the dough.
- Arrange the shapes 1 to 2 inches apart on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over each pizza.
- Add the cheese and toppings to the pizzas.
- Bake until the dough is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly; about 5 - 7 minutes.
