Easy Air Frying Tips
Russet potatoes work best for this recipe because of their high starch content, which helps achieve that crispy texture. Yukon Gold potatoes can also be used for a creamier inside.
Make sure to slice the potatoes evenly so they cook at the same rate. Thicker wedges may need a few extra minutes, while thinner ones will cook faster.
Also, try to spread them out in a single layer for optimal air circulation and crispiness. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook in batches.

Recipe FAQ's
To view the answers, simply click on the plus sign (+) next to each question.
Soaking cut potatoes in cold water for 20-30 minutes before air frying helps remove excess starch, resulting in crispier wedges or fries. However, it’s optional and not necessary for all air fryer recipes.
To get crispy potatoes, avoid overcrowding the basket, preheat the air fryer, and use enough oil to coat the potatoes evenly. Flipping them halfway through cooking also helps with even crisping.
Storage and Reheating Instructions
Refrigerate: Store leftover potato wedges in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Freezer: Flash freeze the potato wedges on a parchment lined tray. Once frozen (after about an hour) transfer them to a freezer safe airtight container or zip top freezer bag.
Reheat: To reheat, place them back in the air fryer at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until crispy again. If reheating from frozen, air fry at 400° for about 15 minutes or until heated through or bake at 425°F for 13-15 minutes.
Top Recipe Tip
Add the Parmesan cheese while the potatoes are still hot to help it stick better.
