Made with refrigerator sugar cookie dough, cream cheese frosting, and fresh fruit,this delicious dessert is easy to make and sure to impress your guests.
I made it in a cast iron skillet, but you can easily use a cake pan or even a round pizza pan!

Skillet cookies are a great way to enjoy the gooey goodness of a classic chocolate chip cookie, but with a twist.
For this recipe, I use store-bought sugar cookie dough which makes it easy to put together. The addition of cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit not only adds a burst of flavor but also makes it perfect for the Fourth of July.

- Roll out the cookie dough and place in a pan.
- Bake for 12 - 14 minutes in a 350°F oven.
📌Quick Tip: Cast iron skillets get very hot, so make sure you're using oven mitts or a thick towel to handle the skillet when taking it in and out of the oven. I like to use these silicone handles from Amazon.

2️⃣Decorate the Cookie Cake
- Frost the cookie cake with the cream cheese frosting.
- Add the fruit to decorate how you like! SInce this is a patriotic themed cookie cake, I'm using blueberries, strawberries and red raspberries. You can change up the fruit to your favorite.

- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup strawberries
- ½ cup raspberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Roll out the cookie dough and place it in either a cast iron skillet, round pizza pan, or a round cake pan.
