This breakfast pizza on crescent roll is topped with eggs, crumbled bacon, diced peppers and two types of cheeses. It's another easy breakfast idea that's ready in about 20 minutes.
Serve this with fruit, and maybe a few sweet danishes and you have a great start to any weekend brunch with friends. You could even serve this for a fun breakfast for dinner night at home.

The base of this breakfast pizza is a tube of refrigerator crescent rolls. After you pinch the crescent rolls together in the shape of a round pizza, you need to pre-bake them before adding the toppings.
I added my family's favorite breakfast toppings of green pepers, cheese and crumbled bacon. You can add what your family prefers or even divide the pizza into two sections with completely different toppings.
This recipe was inspired by my Breakfast Ideas with Crescent Rolls collection.

Recipe Variations
- Use homemade pizza dough or a refrigerator pizza dough in place of the can of refrigerator crescent rolls.
- Puff pastry would work also as the crust.
- If you wanted, you could spread a thin layer of sausage and gravy on top of the crescent roll before adding the eggs and topping.
- Replace the cooked bacon with browned ground sausage.
- Add more vegetables such as chopped red peppers, onions, even broccoli would be great.
Should bacon be cooked before putting it on pizza?
Yes, the bacon should be cooked before adding it to the top of the breakfast pizza. Adding uncooked bacon to the top of a pizza will make the pizza greasy while the bacon cooks. You also risk the bacon not cooking all the way through and not getting crispy enough.
Make it a Meal
- Serve this recipe as part of a brunch of Mother's Day or Easter with a fruit salad on the side.
- You could also serve my puff pastry cream cheese danish recipe or maybe a breakfast parfait.
- Serve with homemade peach iced tea for a refreshing drink.
Storage Tips
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 to 3 days.
- Reheat in the microwave for a minute or two until warmed through.
