💡What to put in Homemade Granola
- Add mini chocolate chips to the mixture after baking like I do with my Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Granola recipe.
- Or you can add dried fruit like cranberries or raisins. Sunflower seeds are also a great addition!

Step-by-Step Directions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts and coconut.
- Step 2: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Step 3: Place the entire mixture on a large baking sheet that has been lined with foil and sprayed or you can use parchment paper.
Baking Instructions
- Step 4: Bake in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven and stir the granola. Then return the pan to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes. Take the pan out and stir again. Continue doing this until the granola is golden brown.
- Step 5: After the granola has cooled down, you can add dried fruit, sunflower seeds, mini chocolate chips; whatever is your favorite! Allow to cool before packaging.

- The mason jars will help keep the granola fresh much longer than a plastic container.
- Wait for the baked granola to cool completely before storing!
- Fill the mason jars up with the granola.
- Add the lid with ring and seal tightly.
- Decorate the jars with raffia and the printable gift tags.
📌Quick Tip: Using a large mouth funnel will help you get the granola into the mason jar without making a mess.
