Step 1: Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface. Cut the rectangle into 12 even strips of dough.
Step 2: Arrange the twisted breadsticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper—even if you’re using a non-stick pan. The parchment helps them crisp up beautifully. Let the breadsticks rise for 30 minutes before baking.
Baking Instructions
Step 3: Brush the breadsticks with melted butter, then generously sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese. Preheat your oven to 425°F and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.

How to Store, Freeze and Reheat
Refrigerate: Store leftover breadsticks in an airtight container or zip-top bag in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freezer: Place cooled breadsticks in a single layer on a baking sheet to flash freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container and store for up to 2 months.
Thaw and Reheat: Thaw breadsticks at room temperature or in the fridge overnight. To reheat, place them on a baking sheet and warm in a 350°F oven for 5–7 minutes, or until heated through. For extra crispiness, lightly brush with butter before reheating.

If made ahead do they reheat well?
Lois says
I would make them ahead but not bake them. Keep them in the refrigerator on a baking tray wrapped in plastic wrap. Remove from the refrigerator about an hour before baking.
