💭What can I make with chicken cutlets?
Chicken cutlets are a versatile and quick-cooking option for dinner. They can be simply seasoned and pan-fried, or pounded thin and breaded for crispy cutlets. And because chicken cutlets cook so quickly, they're perfect for weeknight dinners when time is tight.
Here's a rundown of how to cook chicken cutlets, whether you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or want to dress them up for a special occasion:
- If you're preparing fried chicken cutlets, start by seasoning the meat with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices. Then, heat some oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the chicken cutlets and cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
- For crispy Italian chicken cutlets, start by seasoning the meat as above. Next, set up a dredging station with some flour, eggs, and bread crumbs. Place each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, then the eggs, and then coat with bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Serve immediately with my favorite Dipping Sauce for Chicken Cutlets.
