- Try to have the chicken be uniform in size and thickness. Thin, smaller pieces of chicken cutlets will cook faster than thicker ones.
- Make sure you're cooking the chicken at the correct oven temperature.
- Don't overcook the chicken! Test for the internal temperature. Ideally you want it to be 165°F. I like to use my digital meat thermometer.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the chicken retain its juices and keep it moist. You can even cover the chicken or the pan to keep the moisture in as well.

- If you don't have fresh parsley, you can substitute a teaspoon of dried parsley.

Step 1: Stir the the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and seasonings together.

Step 2: Add chicken breasts to a baking dish that's been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Spread the mixture over the chicken evenly.
📌Quick Tip: Check the temperature of the chicken breast by inserting a meat thermometer into the thickest part to ensure it has reached 165°F.

Step 3: Bake uncovered in a 375°F preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.

Step 4: Once the internal temperature reaches 165°F, the chicken is done. Sprinkle the parsley over the cooked chicken.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Reheat for 7-10 minutes in the oven at 375° or in the air fryer until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Garlic Chicken Cutlets

Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 2 pounds
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Spray an 8"x11" baking dish well with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together melted butter, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread mixture evenly over raw chicken breasts.
- Place in oven to bake for 40 to45 minutes (baked uncovered). Chicken is done once the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature of the meat. Watch that the chicken isn't overcooked or it will dry out. Always check the temperature of the thickest chicken breast first by inserting the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast.
- Once chicken is fully cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over top of chicken.
